Daughter of Hon. Hiram P. Bell Succumbs to Heart Disease. Miss Virginia Bell, daughter of Hon. Hiram P. Bell, of Cumming, Ga., and sister of Hon. George Bell, of Atlanta, died unexpectedly at the latter's residence in this city yesterday morning at 7:15 o'clock. For several days Miss Bell has not been in the best of health, but neither she nor any of the members of her family had any idea that her illness was of a serious nature. Her death is attributed to heart trouble. Miss Bell was about thirty years of age. She had hundreds of friends all over the state, and these will learn of her sudden death with much sorrow. She possessed a lovable and amiable disposition, which, together with her beautiful Christian character, caused her to be loved by all within her circle of acquaintance. The deceased is survived by her father, Hon. Hiram P. Bell, of Cumming, Ga., for many years a member of congress, and one of the most prominent men in the state; one brother, Hon. George Bell, of Atlanta, assistant United States district attorney, and one sister, Mrs. Carter Tate, wife of Congressman Tate, of the ninth district. The funeral services will be conducted this morning at 11 o'clock at the residence of Hon. George Bell, 20 Spruce street, Inman Park. The interment will take place at Westview cemetery. On account of the wide popularity of the deceased and the distinguished members of her family, the house will no doubt be filled with people when the hour for the funeral arrives. The following gentleman will act as pallbearers at the funeral: Judge John R. Wilkinson, Charles R. Winship, L. R. Carmichael, A. W. Jones, C. L. Pettigrew, H. V. Jones, Palmer Johnson and Edwin Jones.
