Jones, Senior in the county and state aforesaid being of sound and disposing mind and memory and bring desirous to settle my worldly affairs while I have strength so to do, do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking all wills by me at any time heretofore made and first I commit my soul to God who gave it and my body, I desire to be buried in the burial ground at Salem church and my worldly estate I dispose of as follows: First, after all my lawful debts are paid and discharged the residue of my estate real and personal, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Susan A. Jones during the term of her natural life and after her death to her sister Mary M. Stokes if she should be living and at her death the remains to be sold and the proceeds equally divided between their heirs likewise, I make, constitute, and appoint my said sons John H. Jones and Starlin B. Jones to be executors of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made. Signed, sealed, published, and declared by the above named John L.
