Sims of said State and County being of sound and disposing mind and memory do make this my last will and testament hereby revoking all wills heretofore made by me. I wish my executor as soon as feasible after my death to pay my debts. If a sale of property shall be necessary I wish them to select for sale that which can be most advantageously used for that purpose and I authorize them to sell the same at public or private sale as they may see fit. I give to my beloved wife Mary A. Sims one large zinc trunk, one eight day clock, one large center(?) table, three good chains and large family Bible. Also I desire for her to have all her things, such as bedding, bed clothes and also a childs part of my entire estate. I give my youngest daughter Minnie I Sims, Seventy five dollars $75.00 in money to make her equal with my other three girls children to wit: Mrs. M. A. Davis, Julie E. Hutchins and Sarah E. Patterson. I desire that all my property both real and personal be sold at private or public outcry which the executors may think best and that the proceeds be equally divided between my wife, M. A. Sims and all my children to wit: Mrs. Milcha A. Davis, Mrs. Julia E. Hutchins, Mrs. Sarah E. Patterson, Mr. Benjamin F. Sims , Arthur J. Sims, George A. Sims and Miss Minnie I Sims. I also desire that Seventy Five Dollars be retained out of the estate for the purpose of buying a monument suitable for the inscription of my father, Arthur W. Sims, his wife Jane Sims, my wife's mother Sophie Burton, Samuel S. Sims, my wife, Mary A. Sims and my sons Charlie J. Sims and Edward Sims and should others of my children be buried at that place for their names to be added also. Also foot stone at each grave with initial of name to be represented. I also desire that Bud Parks of Jackson County have full control of the grave yard on which half his people are buried in by signing up an agreement to look after and keep my half of the same in good repair and keep others from intruding on my half of the same. I do hereby appoint Arthur J. Sims, B. F Sims, Geo. A. Sims three of my sons as executors of this my will. In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal This 12th day of July 1900 Samuel S. Sims Signed and published by Samuel S. Sims as his last will and testament in the presence of the undersigned who subscribe our names hereto as witnesses at the instance and request of said testator and in his presence and in the presence of each other. This is the 12th day of July 1900 John H. Jones J.B. Moore G. W. Stoveall We do solemnly swear that this writing evidences the true last will of the within named Samuel S. Sims deceased so far as we know or believe and that we will well and truly execute the same in accordance with the law of the State. So help us God. Sworn to and subscribed before me Oct 1900 H. L. Sims, who being duly sworn deposes and says that he with John H. Jones and J. B. Moore did on the 12th day of July 1900 attest as witnesses the within writing in the presence of S. S. Sims who in their presence voluntarily signed and ? ? the same as his last will, and that the said S. S. Sims was at the time of said attest above and signing of sound and disposing mind and memory.
