Franklin County, Georgia, Deed Book B, right-hand page of folio 101:

Georgia         )   This is to certify that I William Payne Jun'r have this 
Franklin County )   day for a consideration to me in hand given [the 
word "have" is lined out] Relinquished all my Right to any Lands that Now or 
here after may belong my father  Given under my hand this 11th of February 
1814.

[Note:  In the loose probate records of Franklin County, Georgia, is this 
entry which recorded an expenditure by the administrator of the estate of 
William Payne:  

No. 10 )  Carnesville 30th March 1822--
Rec'd of Thomas Payne adm'r of the estate of William Payne Deceased $0.31 1/4 
for Recording the Relinquishment Given by Wm Payne Jun'r to all the Claim of 
Land belong to his Father
                                James Morris Clk

It appears that the probate record referred to the relinquishment signed by 
William Payne Jr. in 1814.]
