To Asa Bellamy Georgia } Franklin County } Know all men by these presents that I Pleasant Bellamy of the County and State aforesaid are held and firmly bound unto Asa Bellamy of the same place in the sum of one thousand dollars for the true payment of which I bind my self my heirs Executors and Administrators jointly and severally and firmly by these presents sealed with my seal and dated this 2nd day of August 1833 The condition of the above obligation or bond is such that whereas the above bound Pleasant Bellamy for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars paid the said Bellamy do bind himself his heirs & to make a good and warrantee title in law to the undivided half of a certain tract or parcel of land containing three hundred thirty two acres more or less which said tract or parcel of land was willed said Pleasant Bellamy and Asa Bellamy by John Bellamy deceased the father of the aforesaid Pleasant and Asa Bellamy the perport of said will is such that Lucy Bellamy the widow and wife of the said John Bellamy was to remain in possession of the said tract or parcel of land until her death then the said land was of right to belong to the said Asa Bellamy and Pleasant Bellamy now the condition is such that if the said Pleasant Bellamy shall make or cause to be made good and warrantee titles in law to the one half of the above named tract or parcel of land it being the place whereon the said Lucy Bellamy & Asa Bellamy now lives unto the said Asa Bellamy then this obligation to be void otherwise to remain in full force and virtue in law day and year above written Thos Morris .
