This Indenture made & entered into this fourth day
of April Eighteen hundred and forty three Between
John Brawner of the one part & Pleasant Bellamy of
the other part both of the County & State aforsaid
Witnesseth that the said John Brawner  for & in
consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to
him in hand paid by the said Bellamy at & before the
sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained sold & conveyed & do by these presents
grant Bargain sell & convey unto the said Bellamy
his heirs & assigns all that tract or parcel of land
containing one hundred & sixty acres more or less
lying and being in the County of Cass (originally
Chandler now Cass County in the seventh district &
third section Known & distinguished by the (No 125)
one hundred & Twenty five, drawn by Samuel H Russel
of Hancock County Ga having such marks shapes &
boundaries as will appear to a plat & grant to the
same    

To have and to hold said tract or parcel of land
unto him the said Bellamy his heirs and assigns
together with all & singular the rights members &
appurtinances to the same forever in fee simple  And
the said John Brawner for himself his heirs
Executors administrators & assigns will warrant &
forever defend the rights & titles of the same
against the claim of himself his heirs executors
administrators & assigns and against the claim of
all other person or persons whatever claiming the
same    

In Witness whereof the said John Brawner has set his
hand & seal day & year above written
