Arendall } Georgia } Franklin County } This indenture made and entered into this twenty-ninth day of November Eighteen hundred and forty-nine Between James Dailey of the one part and Nathan L Arendall of the other part both of the County and State aforesaid Witnesseth, that the said James Dailey for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars to him in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath granted, bargained and sold unto the said Nathan L. his heirs &c. all that tract piece or parcel of land situate lying & being in the State and County aforesaid, on the waters of Hudson river, beginning at an Ash corner on the Branch, thence along Susanah Hunts line to a pine corner, thence along E. W. Mayfields line to a Black Jack corner. Thence N. 16 W 20 chs. to a hickory cr. Thence W. 47 chs to Sp. O.K cr on the west side of sd. big Branch Thence down said Branch to 17-50 to Maple cr Thence S. 10. E. 7.50. to pine cr Thence S. 10. E to a ash cr. On the west side of said Branch. Thence down side branch to the beginning containing Two hundred acres more or less, with all the rights, members, benefits, profits and advantages thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining.
