Meadows rwmeadows@charter.net October 14, 2003, 8:44 pm Written: September 9 1802 Recorded: November 2 1803 Amon Ayers to Stephen Huse, 9 September 1802 Franklin County, Georgia, Deed Book OO, right-hand page of folio 80: State of Georgia This Indenture made the ninth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and two and in the twenty sixth year of our independance of America Between Amon Ayers of the County of Franklin and State aforesaid of the one part and Stephen Huse of the County and State aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth that the said [left-hand page of folio 81] Amon Ayers for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifty Dollars lawful money of the said State to him in hand paid by the said Stephen Huse at or before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged granted bargained sold released and Confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain release and confirm unto the said Stephen Huse his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land containing by estimation sixty acres situated lying and being in the County of Franklin in the said State it being part of a certain tract of land containing two hundred acres lying and being on the middle fork of Broad river Butting and Bounding by John Pains land on one side and on George Cockburns land on the other side. Together with all and singular the rights members and appertainances thereof whatsoever to the said tract of land being belonging or in any wise appertaining and the remainders revertions rents issues and profits thereof and of every part thereof to have and to hold the said tract of land containing sixty acres be the same more or less and all and singular the premises and appurtenances thereunto [right-hand page folio 81] belonging as aforesaid and every part thereof unto the said Stephen Hues his heirs and assigns forever and the said Amon Ayers for himself and his heirs the tract of land and premises aforesaid and every part thereof unto the said Stephen Hues his heirs and assigns forever against him the said Amon Ayers for himself and his heirs and all and every other Person or Persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents.
