Know all men by these presents, that I William Cannon Sen'r, of Pendleton District in the State aforesaid in consideration of the sum of One Hundred Dollars to me paid by Darling House of Franklin County Georgia Have Granted, bargained, Sold, and released, and by these presents, do Grant, bargain, Sell, and release unto the said Darling House All that Tract or parcel of land Containing Eighty acres more or less situate in the County aforesaid on the waters of the Middle fork of Broad river Bounding as follows on Sam'l Payne on the west, and Hayley on the East, Begining on Paynes line at a conditional line between Asa Ayers and said Payne thence North to a post oak corner, thence West to the poley Bridge Branch to a Red Oak a fore and aft Tree, thence down the Road leading from the widow Martins to the Red Bank ford on the Middle fork of Broad River To a conditional Corner on a Hickory thence on the said Conditional line to the Begining Corner &c. Together with all and singular the rights, members, Hereditaments, and appurtenances to the said premises, belonging or in any wise incident or appertaining. To have and to hold, all and singular the premises before mentioned, unto the said Darling House his Heirs & assigns forever-- And I do hereby Bind my self my heirs, Executors, and Administrators to warrant, and forever defend, all and singular the said premises unto the said Darling House his heirs, and assigns, against myself and against every person whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof, Witness my hand and seal, this Tenth day of August in the year [right-hand page of folio 98] of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and Twenty One and in the Forty fifth year of the Independence of the United State of America Signed, Sealed, and delivered ) in the presence of ) His Jephtha Brown ) William X Cannon (Seal) James McDill J.
