     Deed of Gift dated Franklin Co. 18 Oct 1816 , rec. 19 Feb 1817, from
RICHARD DOWNS of aforesaid to GABRIEL SMITH SR.For love,etc., and also for
services rendered by said SMITH to said DOWNS in the past, conveys 60 ac. in
Franklin Co. on Rocky Crk.,formerly called Eastanolle Crk., down the creek to
a conditional line where 10 ac. is to be excepted to TRYON PATTERSON, being
a part of a tract granted to BRYAN WARD,adt. GEORGE TAYLOR and said DOWNS.
