The Carnesville Herald And Advance December 25, 1930
Mr. Dunbar, representing the Ford Motor Company, and Mr. Loomis, pilot for one of 
the big Tri-motor Ford airplanes, were in Royston today inspecting the local 
landing field to see if it was suitable to visit Royston for a few days some time 
in January. They found the field ideal for their purpose and stated they would 
come to Royston sometime in January for the purpose of carrying passengers in 
their big ship.--Royston Record
