The Carnesville Herald February 19, 1948
A local Boy Scout Troop was organized in Carnesville Monday night. Mr. D.T. 
Harrison is Scout Master and Robert Carroll, Asst. Boy Scout Master, Billy Little 
is Patrol Leader No. 1, Carter Wansley Patrol Leader No. 2 and Frank Strickland 
Patrol Leader No. 3.

A installation program will be held later. Application for Charter was made 
sometime ago, and is expected to arrive soon.

This one of the finest organization in America, and all young boys eligible, are 
invited to join the local Troup.
