BREWER BEHIND BARS OF JAIL.
Franklin County Man Charged With Murdering His Wife.
Carnesville, Ga., September 1-
H. C. Brewer, a tenant farmer, 21 years old, residing 3 miles of Carnesville, 
was lodged in jail here Thursday night on the charge of murder, by Sheriff 
Ramply.  He is alleged to have given his wife a whipping on June 5, which 
resulted in her death three weeks ago.  She left her husband on June 15, went 
to her fathers, near Monroe, Ga., and died there.
