The Carnesville Herald And Advance February 26, 1942
Charleston, S.C., Feb. 24--D.C. Williams, Jr. of Canon, Ga., pharmacist mate, 
second class, USN, is one of the bluejackets who will appear on a nationwide 
broadcast over the Blue Network at 8 p.m. (EWT), Thursday, Feb. 26.

Williams will be a member of one of the quiz teams which will compete for Defense 
Bond prizes during "Service With a Smile," show.

Sixty-eight stations will carry the program.

Williams is manager of the hospital basketball team, and his home Box 23, Canon.
