The Carnesville Herald And Advance November 20, 1947
A.R. Van Cleave, President, has announced faculty committee selections from 
Piedmont College student body for the publication, "Who's Who Among Studewnts in 
American Colleges and Universities."

Honored by the choice are: Wayne Harris, Canon; Jimmie Powell, Alpapaha; Peggy 
Rice, Winchendon, Mass.; Charlene Williams, Thorsby, Ala.; and George K. Evans, 
Scanton, Pa.

"In making the selection," Pres. Van Cleave commented, "the faculty committee was 
guided by the student scholastic record, general value to the college, leadership 
in extra-curricular activities and promise for the future."
