Carnesville--The Franklin County High School of 1956 met for its 66 year reunion 
on Oct. 15 at Rocky Ford Park in Carnesville.  The Class of 1956 was unique in 
that there were 25 boys and 25 girls.  There was no death of a class member until 
42 years after graduation, according to information the class has.  Also according 
to class records, 25 members are deceased and 25 are still living. Twelve members 
attended the recent reunion along with family members and friends making a total 
of 19 present.  The meal was catered by Martha Bennett.  The next reunion is 
planned for 2024.  Members of the Franklin County High School of 1956 attending

Bowers, Jean Segars Owens, Sylvia South Collins, Bobby Jones, Hugh Murphy, Morris 
Purcell, David Culpepper, Kenneth Kellar, Harold Andrews, O'Neil Burton and Donald 
Crump.
