Franklin County Citizen February 23, 1984
Congratulations are in order for the Franklin County Future Farmers of America 
Meats Evaluation Team. On Saturday, Feb. 11, team members Chuck Smith, Chad Carnes 
and Randy Dowell competed with over 70 FFA teams for top honors in the State Meats 
Evaluation Contest.  Franklin County came away with top honors and will represent 
Georgia in the national contest next November at the National FFA Convention at 
Kansas City. Chuck Smith was second highest individual in the state contest.
