The Carnesville Herald April 1968
The Junior and Senior members of the Franklin County Chapter of the Future Farmers 
of America last week toured the new Franklin County Sales Barns.  The boys were 
amazed at the luxurious building.

Thursday the Chapter held a regular monthly meeting. This meeting was for the 
raising of the Greenhands who were qualified to the degree of Chapter Farmer.

In the coming weeks the members will be competing in speaking, land judging and 
forestry field contest. They will also begin selecting their new officers.
