The occupants of the car were Mr. and Mrs. Claud Huff, C.V. Greenwood and his 4 year old daughter, all of Athens. Mr. Greenwood lost control of his car on the Oconee street bridge when it collided with an automobile driven by Miss Lillian Bailey, of Elberton.. The Greenwood car crashed through the iron railing and fell twenty feet, landing up side down in the water, where Trail Creek runs into Oconee River.
