Harbin Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. F.K. Harbin, of Royston, arrived Saturday for a two weeks leave from the Canadian Air Force, and is being extended a hearty welcome by his many friends. Young Harbin enlisted in the Canadian Air Force in May of 1941, while only 17 years old. He has made an enviable record since joining the forces of our ally and neighbor. He is now stationed at the No, 1 Service Flying Training School at Camp Borden, Ontario, Canada, where he has been instructor for the past 18 months. He has seen some convoy duty but censorship makes it impossible for him to reveal the places he has visited.
