The Carnesville Herald August 31, 1950
Fifty nine University of Georgia seniors and graduate students with high 
scholastic averages have been elected to membership i Kappa Phi national honorary 
fraternity.

The society elects as members, students who stand in the upper ten percent of 
their classes. Among those students honored are Franwick Hiram McCall of Canon and 
J.B. Weaver Jr. of Hartwell.
