The Carnesville Herald And Advance August 16, 1945
Maxwell Field, Ala.--Flight Officer Harold D. Etheridge of Lavonia, Ga., recently 
graduated from Flight Engineer Officer Training School here.

The course, which covered a period of four weeks, was divided into 3 phases of 
training. military, administrative, and physical. Upon graduating the students 
were sent to a B-29 transition school for flight training as engineers on the 
mighty Superforts.
