The Carnesville Herald November 12, 1942
The Home Economics girls are really working on the Mother-Daughter, Father-Son 
banquet which we hope to have November 20th. My! But we really hope to have a good 
time that night. This year we are inviting our mothers and fathers too. We hope a 
large group of mothers and fathers are planning to attend. In addition to the 
mothers and fathers we hope that a large number of visitors will be present to 
enjoy the occasion.

Both the Agriculture boys and home economics girls are looking forward to this 
delightful occasion.
