The Carnesville Herald July 2, 1931
It was a happy occasion for all who attended the birthday celebration of Miss 
Emily Busha on her eightieth birthday.  Many friends and relatives gathered at the 
home of A.P. Whiten's and wished for her many happy returns of the day and many 
more years of health and happiness.

Those present were: Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Busha and family of Atlanta, Mr. and Mrs. 
P.A. Whiten and family, Mr. and Mrs. J.H.M Busha and family, Mr. and Mrs. M.C. 
Stowe and family of Toccoa, Mrs. Elizabeth Stowe and children of Tugalo, Mr. and 
Mrs. G.W Frier and daughter; Mrs. H.I. Lee; Mr. H.J. Rumsey; Mr. and Mrs. W.M. 
Cash and daughters; Mr. Omer Brown and son; Mr. Reno Rudiseal of Toccoa; Mr. Loyd 
Brown, E.J. Whiten, Mr. W.C. Clements of Atlanta; Mr. Ralph Stowe of Toccoa and 
Mr. and Mrs. Luther Busha.
