Franklin County Citizen July 17, 1989
On June 30, Mrs. Fannie Jones of Hart County celebrated her 108th birthday.  It is 
understood she is the oldest recipient of Social Security in the state. Born on 
June 30, 1881, she reared 10 children, six of whom are still living.

According to her family, life isn't as meaningful to her now that she is bedridden 
and sleeps a lot.

 However, she was respondent when Capt. Cslvin C. Dudly, executive director of 
Tugaloo Home Health Agency, and members of the nursing staff visited her was a 
birthday cake and gift.

Mrs. Jones lives with her daughter, Ruby. Her home nursing care is provided by 
Tugaloo Home Health Agency under the direction of her family physician, Dr. Louis 
Cacchioli of Hartwell.
