The church, one of the oldest churches in the area, is located in the Sandy Cross community west of Royston. The beautiful brick structure, with stained glass memorial windows and natural pine interior, is the third building to be erected on the present church site. The Dedication Day marks exactly two years from the time the first service was held in this building. During this time the church, in addition to clearing the church of its indebtedness, has beautifully landscaped the yards and graveled the drive. The pastor, the Reverend Kenneth Deitle, and the district superintendent Reverend Paul Turner, will be in charge of the dedication service. Following this service, lunch will be served on the church grounds. After lunch the Canon charge will hold its fourth Quarterly Conference. A most cordial invitation is extended to all former pastors and interested friends to participate in this historic day.
