And Herman and Thurman Peace of Royston Rt. 1 are starting their hunting early. The boys, twins suns of Mrs. Howard Cromer, love to hunt. In fact, they prefer to tree the sly animals with long tails to sitting in a classroom. After the boys came home from Sandy Cross School where they go to the third grade, the other day, they called their dog and started it over the fields. It wasn't long 'rore old Spot, the dog, got a scent and treed a fat old possum in a 'cimmon tree. The boys got old brer possum by the tail and came home likety-split, jes like an Uncle Remus story. After getting their picture made, the boys said they killed the possum and had a mighty fine feast with sweet 'taters on the side.
