The Carnesville Herald November 7, 1946
Ffc. Robert L Reed, son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Reed of Lavonia has just received a 
promotion to Technical Sargent.

He is now located with the 31st Infantry, Headquarters Co., of Korea, China.

He went into service on January 10, 1946 and has served overseas since May. He 
hopes to be home in July 1947. His address is:
