Schlangenbad, Germany--Now serving with the Army Air Forces at Glebelstadt, 
Germany, Private First Class James L. Pilgrim, son of Mr. Lige Pilgrim, Route 2, 
Royston, Georgia. Is assigned to the 850th Engineering Aviation Battalion, a unit 
of the European Aviation Engineer Command.

The task of the European Aviation Engineer Command and the 850th Engineer Aviation 
Battalion, to which Pilgrim is assigned, is to plan, construct, and maintain all 
Army Air Force installations and airfields in the European Theater for the 
Occupational Air Forces.
