The Carnesville Herald And Advance January 11, 11945
Mr. and Mrs. A.L. Harrison of Martin have received a Purple Heart awarded 
humorously to Pvt. Robert A. Harrison who died in service of his country on July 
29, 1944. The award was made by President Roosevelt and sent to Mr. and Mrs. 
Harrison about ten days ago.
