The Carnesville Herald June 4, 1942
Carnesville lost their third game of the season Tuesday night by a close score of 
6 to 5, being defeated by the strong Lavonia Mill team.  Four teams are 
participating in the league again this year--Carnesville Lions, Lavonia Lions, 
Lavonia Mill and the Lavonia Jaycees.

Manager Little urges the players to get more practice and says we should have some 
good games ahead.

Carnesville players include: P.B. Little, Bill Hall, Jack Ratley, T. Carson, Mack 
Wansley, Allan Snelling, P. Newell, V. Darnell, B. Gillespie, F. Whitlow, K. 
McEntire, G Mullinax, J. Toney, M. Turner.

Games are held on Tuesday and Thursday nights.
