The Carnesville Herald March 7, 1940
Former Governor Eugene Talmadge will be the principal speaker at a dinner 
sponsored by the Royston Civic Club at Sandy Cross School on a date to be 
announced later during the week beginning March 17th. A fine program is being 
arranged by the club and the public is invited to attend the dinner at fifty cents 
per plate.

Tickets should be purchased in advance of the date which will be announced in next 
weeks paper.
