The Carnesville Herald And Advance February 6, 1947
Wansley Brothers, Ford dealers, of Carnesville, had a formal opening of their new 
building on Saturday night, February 1. The Woman's Club of Carnesville sponsored 
a square dance in connection with the opening and the proceeds are to be used to 
pay for a refrigerator in the lunchroom of the school.

A large crowd attended from over the county to congratulate the Wansleys and enjoy 
a pleasant evening.

In the showroom of the building was displayed a new 1947 Ford car and the 
decorations consisted of large baskets of gladioli, ferns and carnations, which 
were sent by friends of the Wansleys.
