The Carnesville Herald August 26, 1948
A survey has been completed for the paving project from the center of Carnesville 
to the school building, and work will start in the next few days. The county will 
do the grading and the State Highway Department will do the paving.

This is a much needed project and will prove of great benefit to patrons and 
children of the Carnesville School.
