     Death came to Mrs. Lettie A. Heaton, age 77, at the home in 
Double Branches Community on Monday, July 16th, following a ten day 
illness of paralysis.
     Funeral services were held at Double Branches church on 
Tuesday, July 17th, with Rev. Shell officiating. Interment was in 
the churchyard cemetery.
     Mrs. Heaton was loyal member of the Baptist church a lived a
Christian and upright life. She was devoted to her family, loyal to 
her friends and obliging as a neighbor. Her many friends and loved 
ones will be deeply bereft in her passing.
     Surviving her are her son, J.H. Heaton, and one sister, Mrs. 
Ann Brown.
     B.D. Ginn, funeral director, was in charge of funeral 
arrangements.
