Mr. Johnson was widely known in this section. He was the son of the late Attorney Johnson and was born and reared in Elbert county. Funeral services were held at the Old Confidence church where he had long had membership. Surviving are his widow, eleven children, several grandchildren, and great grandchildren; one brother, Lafayette Johnson; and one sister, Mrs. Fanie Slay of Elbert County.
