CANON, Ga. -Sallie Mae Peoples, 91, of Canon, widow of Parker 
Peoples, died March 15, 1989, at Brown Memorial Convelescent Center.
     Born in Elbert County, she was a daughter of the late Luther 
Henry and Tempie Ann Brown Brown. She was a homemaker and a member 
of Double Branches Baptist Church.
     Surviving are daughter, Mrs. Ruby Knight of Canon; five
grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; six great-great 
grandchildren.
     Services at 3 p.m. Friday at Pruitt Funeral Home Chapel by Mr. 
Ron Wallen. Burial in Oakview cemetery, Canon.
     The body is at the funeral home. The family is at the home of 
Mrs.Ruby Knight, Canon, Ga.
