Addison died Tuesday morning in the Lipscomb Nursing Home after an extended illness. Miss Addison was born in Franklin County, a daughter of the late H. B. and Nancy Watkins Addison. She had lived in Stephens and Franklin counties all her life. She was a teacher in the Stephens County School System and for several years before her retirement was an employee of A & A Grocery, the Azalea Florist and Rothell Florist. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Toccoa, a member of the Fidelis Sunday School Class, a member of the Business Women's Circle of the WMU and a member of the Stephens County Hospital Auxillary. Survivors include: 2 brothers: Rich Addison of Mize; Herschel Addison of Toccoa; two sisters: Mrs. Floyd Whiten and Mrs. Wofford Keller, both of Mize and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday from the New Hope Baptist Church with Dr. C. L. Leopard and Rev. Ralph Bagwell officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The following nephews served as pallbearers: Ralph Whiten, Allen Addison, Clyde Addison, Deweece Addison, Bob Addison, H. J. Keller, John Henry Roper and Dan Addison. Dan Mathews Mortuary, Toccoa.
