Born in Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late William D. and Buna McConnell Garrison. She had lived in Stephens and Franklin counties. She was a member of Nails Creek Baptist Church. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Mozelle Kennedy, Mrs. Burriss Brown, both of Carnesville; Mrs. Hazel Forrester; Mrs. Troyce Keesee, Mrs. Mildred Norris, all of Toccoa; Mrs. Delia Reeves of Lawrenceville; four sons, Conrad Ayers, Marvin Ayers, both of Toccoa; Tom Watson Ayers of Carnesville; Emerson Ayers of Westminster, S.C.; four sisters, Mrs. Blanche Means of Toccoa; Mrs. Myrtle Patterson, Mrs. Lucille Burns, both of Pittsburg, Texas; Mrs. Belle Carlin of Dayton, Texas; four brothers, Albert Garrison of Dayton, Texas; four brothers, Albert Albert (twice?) Garrison of Carnesville; Olin Garrison of Commerce; Willie Garrison of Easley; Plumer Garrison of Pittsburg, Texas; 40 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday at Nail's Creek Baptist Church by the Revs. Bill Martin and Ray Black. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Grandsons, who will be pallbearers, are Jimmy Keesee, Jimmy Ayers, Rufus Brown, James Kennedy, Sammy Carter, Tommy Norris. The body is at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Willie Norris in the New Hope community. The Mathews Mortuary will be in charge.
