After a long and useful life, death came to Mr. Jackson O. Bryant, of Royston, at 
the ripe age of 90 years, on June 14th, after an illness of two weeks. Death came 
to him at the home of his son, Mr. J.C. Bryant. 

Mr. Bryant was a member of the Zidon Baptist Church and was a constant attendenant 
at the services as long as health permitted. He was a substantial citizen and in 
his death this section loses one of its oldest citizens.

Funeral services will be held from the Zidon church on Saturday morning June 17th.

He is survived by nine children as follows: J.C. Bryant, Royston, Will Bryant, 
Anderson, S.C., J.W. Bryant, Royston, Cynthia Dudley, Anderson, Mrs. Nora Leard, 
Danielsville, Mrs. Julia Jordan, Royston, Mrs. Maud Westbrook, Royston. Mrs. Rodey 
Looney, Sumter, S.C. and Mrs. Ollie Westbrook, of North Carolina.
