Luvie Cape Roach, 82, Route 1, Carnesville, died Friday, Jan. 17, 1986.

Mrs. Roach, a native of Franklin County, was a daughter of the late Nathan and 
Roxie Parten Cape, and the widow of Dennis M. Roach. She was a homemaker and a 
member of Riverside Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 19, at 3:30 p.m. at Riverside Baptist 
Church. The Revs. Cranford Carnes and Craig Bowman officiated. Burial was in the 
church cemetery.

Survivors include a son, Abbit Roach, Carnesville; three daughters, Mrs. Fred 
Craig, and Mrs. Thomas Cotharn, Carnesville, and Mrs. Truett Watson, Royston; nine 
grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Pruitte Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
