Young Man Dies

On December 16th, death came to Mr. J.T. Carroll, aged 16, following a two weeks 
illness of pneumonia. The death of this young man brought sadness to the hearts of 
all who knew him. He died at the home of his father, Mr. C.H. Carroll.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. A.W. Bussey, of Bowman, at Cross Roads 
church on December 17. Interment was in the Cross Roads cemetery.

The sad death of this splendid young man brought sorrow into the hearts of all who 
knew and loved him. He possessed many fine traits of character which endearted him 
to all with whom he came in contact.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.H. Carroll, four sisters, Mrs. J.T. 
Elliott, Columbus, Sarah, Evelyn and Polly Carroll, two brothers, Luther and Leon 
Carroll, all of Eastanollee.

B.D. Ginn, funeral director, was in charge of arrangements.
