Ottis B. Cromer, 61, a lifelong resident of the Sandy Cross Community, died at his 
home last Wednesday morning following a sudden attack. Mr. Cromer was born in 
Franklin County, a son of the late J. Robert and Lexie Crow Cromer. He was of the 
Holiness faith.

Survivors: his widow, Mrs. Mattie Lee Phillips Cromer of the home; two daughters, 
Mrs. Raymond Duncan and Mrs. Dorsey Rich, both of Athens; one brother, Jack Cromer 
of Royston; five sisters, Mrs. Artie Kelley, Mrs. Hassel Carey, both of Franklin 
Springs, Mrs. Melvin Fowler, Mrs. Marshall Roach, both of Royston, and Mrs. Letch 
Phillips of Greenville, S. C.; seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday at 2 p.m. at the New Hope Holiness Church with 
the Rev. B. A. Skelton and Walter Nash officiating. Burial will be in Zidon 
Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbears: Pinnic Price, Buford Parham, Herbin Berryman, Henry Phillips, Harry 
Phelps, Dwight Phillips.
