Born in Franklin County on November 25, 1912, he was the son of the late William and Louise Dove Cromer. He was a farmer and member of the Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mr. Cromer was preceded in death by his first wife, Ostell Janie Royston Cromer, and his second wife, Margaret Brewer Cromer; a step-son, Aaron L. Royston; step-daughter, Willie Mae Vaughn; two brothers, Hoyt Cromer and John Cromer; and a sister, Alline Hart. Survivors include a step-daughter, Nina Faye Phillips, Hartwell; and a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Tuesday, June 20, at the Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery with the Rev. Bert Synan officiating. Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
