Carnesville Herald, June 11, 1936
Mr. B. A. Deadwyler, one of Commerce's most prominent citizens, died at the 
Wesley Memorial Hospital in Atlanta on Tuesday of last week, after an illness 
of several months.  The deceased is well known in Franklin county and has many 
friends who will regret to learn of his passing.  Thirty seven years ago he 
was married to Miss Dora Carson, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. G. L. Carson.  He was 
73 years of age, and took an active part in all religious and civic affairs o 
his city.  Funeral services were held last Wednesday Morning at the Commerce 
First Baptist church.  Interment followed in Grey Hill Cemetery.
