Franklin Deleno Dockery, 69, of Royston, died Wednesday, November 17, 2004, at 
his residence.

Born in Franklin County, he was the son of the late William Vassie Dockery, 
Sr. and Ruth Woods Dockery. He was a retired mechanic and life long member of 
the Teamsters Organization. Mr. Dockery was preceded in death by a daughter, 
Michelle Stephens, two brothers, William Barnett Dockery and Fred Lee Dockery, 
three sisters, Elvin Brown, Annie Sue Floyd and Mildred Dockery.

Survivors include his wife, Sara Ruth Fields Dockery, Royston; daughter, Cindy 
Colbert, Kissimmee, Fla.; brother, William Vassie Dockery, Jr., Climath Falls, 
Ore.; sisters, Francis Dockery Bennett, Bowman, and Linda Gail Howell, 
Bowersville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Sunday, November 21, at the Rose Hill Cemetery 
with Mr. Vernon Boswell officiating.

Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
