He was born in Franklin County on December 21, 1940, and was the son of the late Alfred and Allie Bragg Fleeman. He worked as a maintenance supervisor with Johnson and Johnson and was a member of the Royston Church of God. Mr. Fleeman was preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Hart Fleeman; a son, Joseph Keith Fleeman; brother, Anthony Fleeman; and sister, Lottie Smith. Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Mize Fleeman, Royston; sons, Greg Fleeman, Royston, and Phil Mize, Bowman; daughters, Cindy Maxwell, Bowman, Pam Worley Elberton; grandchildren, Amanda and Maegan Fleeman, Brooke and Morgan Maxwell, and Hannah, Courtney and Corbin Mize; brothers, James Fleeman, Nicholson, Archie Fleeman, Royston, and Roger Fleeman, Bowman; and a sister, Louise Andrews, Royston. Funeral services were held Sunday, October 1, at the Royston Church of God with the Revs. James Gunn and Tommy Edwards officiating. Burial was in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation. Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, was in charge of arrangements.
