Franklin County Citizen
George Fulbright, an 67-year-old from 320 Cook St, died on Thursday, March 4 at his
home; he died due a 
long-held sickness. George had been a native of Franklin county and was the son of
Lizzie Burnett 
Fulbright (Carnesville, GA) and Henry David Fulbright. He had been a retired used
car dealer and was a 
Baptist. He'd been married twice, the first to Edna Crumpleton Fulbright (deceased
prior to his death) and 
the second to Jenelle Ruff Fulbright who had survived him.

Besides his second wife, Mr. Fulbright was survived by his son, Fred E. Fulbright
(Charlotte, NC); his 
daughters, Mrs. Wanita Miller and Mrs Dee Miller (both in Atlanta, GA) and Mrs. Bob
Fowler (Douglasville, 
GA); his sisters, Mrs. Hess Fowler (Carnesville, GA) and Mrs. Jim Canady (Toccoa,
GA); his brothers, Blake 
Fulbright (Hartwell, GA), Paul Fulbright (Anderson, SC), D. C. Fulbright
(Gainesville, GA) and Mack 
Fulbright (Carnesville, GA); and 11 grandchildren.

Reverand Jack McVeigh held services on Saturday, March 6 at the Martin Funeral Home
Chapel. He was 
buried in Falling Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
