L. D. GALE, formerly of Carnesville, GA, but for the past twelve years a citizen of Louisville and Wrens, died suddenly from acute indigestion at his home in Wrens Friday last. He was 61 years of age at the time of his death and had enjoyed his usual good health until very shortly before his demise. Funeral services were conducted from the home in Wrens after which the body was brought to Lavonia for burial with very fitting services at the grave, conducted by Rev. George W. Light, pastor of Lavonia Baptist Church. Dr. Gale practiced dentistry at Carnesville for quite a number of years, where he was well and favorable known. He was a member of the Baptist church and took a great deal of interest in church affairs; he, too, was of a very pleasing personality and all Carnesville extends sympathy to the family in their great loss. Surviving Dr. Gale are his wife and five children -- Mrs. Mary Sue Little of Alabama; Dick, Charlotte, Margaret and Louise Gale, all of Wrens.
