Kingsland--Barbara "Bobbie" Ann Fortson Haley, 51, or 156 Woodbridge Road, 
formerly  of Royston, died Tuesday, December 30, 1997.

A native of Franklin County, she was the daughter of Ira Lee Brown Fortson, 
Royston and the late H.D. Fortson. She was a budget officer for the U.S. 
Department of Defense. She was a member of New Hope Congregational Holiness 
Church. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Faye and Sylvia Fortson.

Survivors, in addition to her mother include one daughter, Yvonne Carlan, one son, 
Wade Haley, Royston; two grandchildren, Brandi Leigh Carlan, Lavonia, and Jonathan 
Wade Haley, Royston.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Friday at New Hope Congregational Holiness 
Church with Revs. Dennis Kesler and Jonathan Randall officiating. Burial followed 
in the church cemetery.
